Principals

Orville Petersen Orville Petersen, CPA license #0013246, president and director of compilation and review services. He joined the firm in 1991 after two years of experience with another firm. Orville practices in the area of personal and business income tax preparation, small business accounting, planning, and consulting. Orville graduated with a BS in accounting from Mesa State College. He serves on the Landowner Planning and Conservation Assistance Team as well as being an advisory member of the Purchase of Development Rights Review Committee. He works closely with the local community on conservation easements. Orville is a member of the Grand Junction Kiwanis Club and is a past president of the Western Slope Chapter of Colorado Society of CPAs. He has served on numerous community boards including Kiwanis and Friends of McInnis Canyons NCA. Orville enjoys all manner of outdoor activities.

Wayne Keeler Wayne Keeler, CPA license #0022030, is treasurer and director of income tax services for our firm. Wayne joined the firm in 2000 and practices in the area of individual and business income tax preparation, planning and consulting. Wayne graduated with a BS in Accounting from Mesa State College and has been a CPA since 2002. He is a member of Grand Junction Lions Club and has served on the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity of Mesa County. Wayne enjoys many sports and outdoor activities.

Managers

Cindy Woodward Cindy Woodward joined the firm in 1995 after several years of experience in private industry. She received her B.S. in accounting from Mesa State College. Cindy prepares monthly, quarterly and annual compilations for a diverse clientele. She also prepares payroll tax reports and forms. Cindy enjoys reading, golf, and spending time with her family.

Patrice Onofrio Patrice Onofrio, CPA license #0020066, joined CSD in 2020 as a Tax Manager. She has a B.S. in agricultural studies from CSU, a B.S. in accounting from Metro State, and spent most of her career in Denver. In 2013, Patrice moved to Grand Junction and worked for a small accounting firm. Working with a variety of clients and the challenges that each tax return brings is why she enjoys accounting so much. Two Siberian cats and her grandkids keep her busy outside of work, and she also loves traveling to go scuba diving in various locales.

Kristy Lindquist Kristy Lindquist CPA license #9037405, likes easing clients’ fears about taxes, and says each return tells a unique story of someone’s life. She was born and raised in North Dakota, and in 2010 received her B.A. in economics and business administration from Humboldt State University. She moved to Grand Junction in 2013 and graduated summa cum laude from Colorado Mesa University with a B.S. in public accounting in 2019. Mom to two humans and six animals, Kristy gardens, crafts, and floats the river when she has a few minutes to enjoy extracurriculars.
